FishScale’s new menu

FishScale, a restaurant in the Shaw area of DC that specializes in fish burgers, has become one of my go to spots for a bite to eat. I've written about them before, but they recently added some great items to their menu that I want to highlight.

Mark's Kitchen has been an iconic restaurant in Takoma Park Maryland for decades. At the end of January, the restaurant will close for good as the owner Mark Chao retires. Recently, a group of friends and I went there to enjoy one final meal there.

I was in Clarence New York meeting a relative for brunch. One of the places suggested was the Campfire Grill. I liked what I saw on their menu and decided to give it a try. This was a great decision, as their food is phenomenal!

Ranch House Restaurant

I've driven passed it for many years but have never stopped there. This year, I happened to be passing by around dinner time so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did as I quickly found out that the Ranch House Restaurant is the best family style diner on Route 15!

GCDC Grilled Cheese Bar

While taking a class, I met a fellow foodie. He highly recommended a gourmet grilled cheese restaurant in downtown DC, just one block past the White House on Pennsylvania avenue. Skeptical, I tried it out. My friend was right, GCDC Grilled Cheese Bar is fantastic!
