Driving through northern Pennsylvania, I was looking for a place to eat lunch. On the main street in Mansfield, I saw a coffee shop that looked a little bland on the outside. I decided to peek inside. As soon as I walked in, I knew Night and Day Coffee Cafe was the right place.
I had a meeting with friends in the Mt Vernon Triangle area of Washington DC, and we were looking for a quick bite to eat beforehand. We found a wonderful little coffee shop that was exactly what we were looking for.
You wouldn't expect to find a world class coffee shop in one of the poorest communities in the United States. But you will find exactly that in the Higher Grounds Coffee House on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
