I love eating at diners. They are not only great places to get comfort food, but also a good way to experience a city's local culture. Over the years, I have been to many diners at many places throughout the US. Here are my favorites.
In the small town of Caledonia, New York -- not far west of Rochester -- I found a classic 50s style diner. With friendly service and fabulous home cooking, Reminisce offers a unique and memorable dining experience.
A classic, 52 year old diner can be found in Washington DC's Capitol Hill, just a few blocks east of the Capitol Building.
Part 2 of my guide to Pittsburgh, covering comfort food from brunch and sandwiches to ice cream and soda.
