Supra goes to Georgia

Supra, my favorite restaurant in Washington DC, regularly arranges trips to the Eastern European country of Georgia, whose cuisine inspired the restaurant. This past fall, I went on one of these trips. It was a whirlwind of a tour; we traveled throughout the country and sampled each regions food and wine.

Georgian food is one of the more unusual types of cuisines that you can find in DC. Not from the state of Georgia, mind you. Georgia the Eastern European country. Supra has been a main stay of DC for years. But recently the owners managed to open a second restaurant, Tabla. Both serve superb food.
