I was on a road trip looking for a place to eat. I decided to take the exit right before the Maryland line with Pennsylvania, on Interstate 83. I quickly found a nearby bar and grill that turned out to be first rate: the StoneBridge Grill.

Jim’s South Street
When I wrote my first article about cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, I received several recommendations about other places to visit. Last year, I attempted to go to all of them. I came close, but Jim's Steaks on South Street was closed due to a fire. Jim's has now reopened and I am happy to report that they have some of the best cheesesteaks in Philly.

Before a trip through Pennsylvania, a friend asked me to stop in Williamsport to pick up some subs. Not one or two subs, mind you, but over a half dozen. He wanted to share them with friends. I honored his request and soon learned that Newberry Sub Shop has earned such devotion.

I've driven passed it for many years but have never stopped there. This year, I happened to be passing by around dinner time so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did as I quickly found out that the Ranch House Restaurant is the best family style diner on Route 15!
Yorkholo Brewing Company
I was traveling for the holidays and found myself in Mansfield Pennsylvania around dinner time. Searching for a local restaurant, I found Yorkholo Brewing Company. It's a great pub. I love the beer selection and the colorful atmosphere.
