Some friends were in from out of town, and we were headed out for dinner. Back home, they cannot get good Latin American food so that was high on their list. In downtown Annapolis we found a place that was perfect - Picante Cocina Mexicana.

Iron Rooster
I was in Annapolis for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Most of the bars were packed, but I found one that could seat me. Normally it is a pretty popular place, but I had beaten the dinner rush. That was fortunate, as the Iron Rooster has great food and superb service.
Fox’s Den
A couple of years back, a friend from Annapolis recommended a gastro pub there. When I was looking for a place to eat for an out of town guest, The Fox's Den came to mind. It now tops my list of places to dine in Annapolis!
Jalapeños – Fine Spanish dining
Whenever I asked friends for restaurant recommendations in Annapolis, Maryland, Jalapeños was always on the list. They serve a combination of Spanish and Mexican food, and that includes tapas. Because of the tapas I held off going there until I had a group, in order to get a good sample. I have finally done so.
Lures Bar & Grill
Rustic dining with fantastic fresh seafood and a great beer selection can be found at Lures Bar & Grill in Crownsville Maryland, just a few miles east of Annapolis. The seafood is so fresh that the rumor has it that they don't even have a freezer.
