It was National Ice Cream Day and a new ice cream parlor was opening in Georgetown. The lines were long and the day was hot, but it was worth it. Yala Greek Ice Cream is like no other.

I love Indian food and have it quite often. But I can't say that I have had Indian street food before. I was in Georgetown for an event and was looking for a place to eat after. When I saw Masala Street, I knew I had to try it. I'm glad I did, as the food is unique and delicious.
Bandoola Bowl
One of my favorite places to dine, Mandalay Restaurant, has a related eatery in Georgetown. I was in the area recently for a festival and made it a point to try it out. Bandoola Bowl lives up to their reputation.
