Mark's Kitchen has been an iconic restaurant in Takoma Park Maryland for decades. At the end of January, the restaurant will close for good as the owner Mark Chao retires. Recently, a group of friends and I went there to enjoy one final meal there.

There are four farms on the trail in the northeast, serving homemade ice cream with the high quality that I expect from places on the trail.
