Some friends of mine heard that the best burgers in Buffalo, NY were at Grover's Bar & Grill in East Amherst. They went there and loved the burgers so much that as soon as they had the chance, my friends took me to Grover's.

I was looking for some ice cream after an outing in Akron, New York. A quick search turned up Sprinkles Creamery in nearby Corfu. A rustic little ice cream stand located in the middle of the New York countryside, Sprinkles has great ice cream, unique confections, and a great view.
Market Street in Corning NY
Market Street in Corning, New York is a lovely little downtown area with lots of neat shops and restaurants. Recently, they have shut down the street to traffic, making it a pedestrian only area. I think the result is great; a perfect place to dine.
D & R Depot
In the small town of Leroy, near western New York, lies a fun family restaurant in an old train station: the D&R Depot.

If Buffalo is known for one thing (other than snow and the Bills), it is chicken wings. There are many places throughout the city where you can get good wings. Truly great wings, on the other hand, is much harder to find. Hidden away in a Knights of Columbus hall in Kenmore, you will find a place that serves the best.

Some of the best places to get ice cream are at dairy farms. Hoovers Dairy, located in rural Western New York is one such place.

Letchworth State Park is no longer the only reason to visit Mount Morris, New York. There is an Italian restaurant there that serves freshly made pasta.
